Whats it all about?           Changeling LARP (Live action Role-play), Is a multifaceted game, which as it’s name dictates is primarily about Changelings, however during the course of a game, you may meet other supernatural creatures, such as Werewolves, Vampires and a myriad of other beings. This game unlike other Changeling games, does not just concentrate on the affairs of Changelings, but at later stages you might get chance to play other supernatural creatures. Yes, Changeling LARP does follow the Background of White Wolf’s ‘World of Darkness’ System. But is very different in the way the game is run, for instance the combat system differs in the way that all combat is acted out in real time.            The combat system as stated before is acted out in a similar manner to Hollywood stunt people, in that all punches are pulled or near misses. This adds to the realism of the system, and does not bog down the nights gaming.            Also the way in which the game is run is very different, to other systems. For example the game never ends, at any time it is perfectly, reasonable that you can play your character. So say one night you and some other players want to get together to act out a few scenes, or even formulate a plot to overthrow the prince.            One of the best ways to play the game and one which I will use is that once a month there will be a big gaming session, which will last from early evening, until late. Then on another day run a session, which is just half a day to fill in the plot for the rest of the month. Also twice a month there will be a meeting of Nobles, Houses and a select few others. On other nights maybe once a month there will be Kith meetings, these can be held in night clubs, or pubs, or even in one of the players homes.            This way of running things can be rather sticky if all the players go to the same night-club. However this can be worked around, by saying that if a character would not normally go to that club she would not be there, so no one can time in on you.            So the plot just does not stop at the end of the Session, for if you are playing other creature like Mages, and other being which can roam in the day, you can play any time you want.            However this games does encourage the players to role-play rather than run around with guns.
