Kineticism



          Kineticism is an example of a Discipline created by a Caitiff. The Kindred who masters Kineticism can control kinetic energy.

Dampening

          The character can hinder the flow of kinetic energy affecting him, reducing the damage of any such attacks directed against him.

           System:The character spends one Blood Point to halve the amount of damage taken (round up). Dampening affects aggravated attacks also. A character using Dampening may attempt to dodge at the same time this cost 2 blood and is called as a dodge.

Redirection

          The character can alter the course of moving objects. Thus, bullets can be made to veer away from the character, sometimes even reversing course by up to 180 degrees.

           System:For every point of blood spent on this level of the discipline the character can deflect the path of a single projectile by 30 degrees, spending multiple blood, can move multiple objects or turn a single object by multiples of 30 degrees.

Vengeful Strike

          The character is able to focus kinetic energy as a weapon. Any attack that successfully strikes the character may be refocused to add to the character's own hand-to-hand attacks.

           System:The character spends one Blood Point. When struck by an attack, the character must still soak any damage she receives. Then for the next attack against the same foe, you can add to your damage the amount of damage they did to you. This affect can only be as a counter strike. The extra damage is only considered aggravated if her attack is aggravated (such as vampiric fangs).

Discharge

          The character can enhance the kinetic energy she generates herself. She may apply this to ranged attacks.

           System:The character spends two Blood, to activate this disciple, you cannot stack this disciple. So you cannot spend more than 2 blood. Then this discipline, will then add the level if the discipline to and Brawl of melee attacks.

           Note: this cannot be used in conjunction with Potence.

Kinetic Shield

          The character creates a barrier of kinetic energy in front of her, which may be used to protect herself or anyone else behind the barrier from assaults.

           System:The character spends one Blood Point. Which creates a 6' x 4' barrier in front of her that will absorb up to five Health Levels of damage. Additional Blood will expand the barrier by 1 foot in both directions, or add 2 to the amount of damage the barrier can take

          To create a spherical shield around the player, will cost 2 blood, and takes 5 damage, the player must however crouch to fit in the sphere. If the sphere has its health increased to above 10 then for 1 additional blood the sphere can be made air tight.

           An additional two blood can be spent to add more health, to the shield after the shield has been created. You need at least 10 health levels in the shield to block passage of another being, so you can create a barrier, in a doorway which cannot be passed, unless the health of the barrier is reduced to below 10.

           Note: The shield will dissipate if the vampire move more than 10 feet from the shield.
